I first remember meeting Cody several years ago at a fabulous indie rock concert in a dingy little bar downtown, but he’s been friends with my brother, Leo, for years. (In fact, you’ll see my brother make an appearance in a few of these photos!) This was my second ever wedding at which I was the primary photographer and I had a fabulous time! I love all the images that were created that day and I just adore being witness to all the happiness that comes with a wedding. I had a really, really hard time narrowing down the photos to display on the blog. So, just to warn you, there are and awful lot of them!

All the bridal prep and pre-wedding photos were taken at Whitehall, one of Greenville's oldest homes, which is currently the private residence of some of Cody's relatives.

All the flowers were done by Jessie Stone, Cody’s cousin, who works at Tiger Lily Florist in Charleston. she did an amazing job!

I love how a little breeze hit these ladies just enough to blow their hair and add to the sassiness of this photo!

Mallary was simply a gorgeous bride!

The wedding colors came about very organically. The men wore khaki suits with brown pocket squares. The pocket squares matched the bridesmaids dresses as well as the table cloths. The bride's bouquet was wrapped in lavender, matching the lavender seeds that were thrown at Cody & Mallary's exit.

I just had to include this photo. Mallary's sister, Megan, is showing Mallery where she can store some tissues for the ceremony!

The wedding ceremony was at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church here in Greenville.

Thanks to Kristy Kailiope Photography, my second shooter, for this shot! :)

I love Mallary's excitement in this photo :)

Aren’t those the most fabulous glasses? Mason jars on stems!

Kristy and I stole Mallary and Cody to the upstairs porch and took some photos of them. Which, by the way, are possibly some of the sweetest photos I have ever taken!

That’s my brother that caught the garter! He’s a ham. The gal that caught the bouquet actually caught it a second time. We had to do a do-over since the first time it it a tree and then the ground. A little boy grabbed it, excitedly. :)

The Bent Strings performed at the wedding!

I love this photo of Cody & his sister Alex :)

Cody & Mallary danced to Wagon Wheel (...rock me mama like a wagon wheel...) before running off and making their exit

And, honestly, it was just a faux exit for the sake of photos. But I really love this photo! :)

Lavender was even thrown at the car, you can see it on the outside sill of the window! And, of course, empty PBR cans tied to the back of the car :)
