So, I just got back from Reality Check and I wanted to share a few quick photos. (The top photo is Blake Julian and Holly Durst from the Bachelorette 7, Bachelor 12 &, and Bachelor Pad 2 with Logen Hall from Talent.)
But before I go any further, let me tell you about Reality Check. This was an event to raise awareness for those in the world without the luxury of clean, safe drinking water. There were water bottles around filled with dirty water–just to give you an idea of what you might have to drink if you lived in certain parts of the world.
I was remind of how, when I was in Bangladesh, I couldn’t so much as brush my teeth with tap water. It just wasn’t safe. Even for that we had to use purified, filtered water. But even that water was close at hand. There are so many in this world who don’t have access to clean water quite so easily.
So, how the event was set up is there were Reality TV stars at different tables around the room and you could compete against them, or a friend, at some Minute to Win It games. A lot of the games had some sort of water theme. I was terrible at each and every single game I played! But I still had fun. And who knew so many Reality TV stars hail from the Upstate of South Carolina?
Every penny raised from Reality Check, from the cover to the silent auction, goes towards bringing clean water to a village in Libera!
Go here to learn more about Water of Life or about how you can get involved to help bring water to people in places like Liberia, Guinea, the Gambia, Sierra Lieone, and India!

Logen Hall from the new series Talent (http://www.thetalentshow.com/) performing On My Way. She had such a beautiful voice!

Amy Parham from The Biggest Loser and Kimberly Kelly, a local television host, picking a lucky door prize winner! And having a lot of fun while doing it, too!

Justin Davis from American Idol demonstrating his impressive skills at Face The Cookie. I was especially terrible at this game. I tried about ten times and never got it!

One thing I should have gotten a photo of, but didn't, was the super sweet Kim from Daisy Cakes. Why? Because in the silent auction, I won TWO Daisy Cakes! I've been wanting to try them since I saw her on the Shark Tank and now I've got some. People have raved out these cakes, so I cannot wait to try them for myself!
